Sainsbury’s test positive then 3 negatives

I did a test from Sainsbury’s on Saturday which had a really faint positive line (pictured). Then I did one first thing yesterday morning from the same box and it was negative. I went out and bought some clearblue ones and tested again yesterday and it was negative again, and again first thing this morning which was negative. I had the implant put in about 2.5 weeks ago and didn’t bleed at all which I’ve heard is abnormal. Before that I had a period around 20th May but I have super irregular periods and hadn’t had one for 3 months before that so it’s not abnormal for me to miss one. Has anyone experienced this before? what do you think?

I don’t think that’s positive. It’s an incomplete line, it disappears half way down. There is also inconsistency with the whole test strip in terms of colour/patchiness. I’d just assume it’s some dye bleed or something from urine splashing on the test. If you’ve tested multiple times since, and all negative, then you aren’t pregnant.

thank you for replying. i will add that the test has been in the bottom of my bag since saturday so that’s why its a little dirty. the line is incredibly faint but both my partner and my mother said they could see it.

That's not a proper line, it's an ident or evap.

I don’t mean the dirt, I mean the obvious patchiness and difference in colour.
They may have been able to see the bit of partial line, but it isn’t complete, so it’s not a positive result.

It doesn’t look positive to me. The hormone that’s being detected should increase over days so if you’re still testing negative then you’re not pregnant.
