hurts to walk today.

could it be the start of spd or just bad sleeping position?

Misdee, - I had to sleep on my side, with a pillow between my knees with both PGs.

No experience of SPD.

Hope you feel better soon

This started happening to me at 22 weeks. Get referral to obstetric physio as better to be safe than sorry. My SPD not too bad thanks to early treatment and girdle. I sleep with pillows etc but only the prescribed exercises and a bit of osteopathic treatment help. Don't leave it!! Good luck.

It could be several things. Sleeping, sciatica, spd, unaligned pelvis - my stiff-arsed walking was caused by my sacroliliac joints coming out, one twist from the physio and it was all better.

Get your midwife to refer you to physio - my physio also fitted me with a maternity belt (niiiice) and a long piece of tubigrip for tummy support when the downward pressure got too much.

It being our DC4 I suspect that our joints loosen up and our pelvis' give way too quickly. I'm not having a 5th!
