Homeless/staying in temp accomodation 33 weeks pregnant

Hi All,
Was just looking into some insight as to what other people's experiences were like in regards to being pregnant and homeless and staying in temp housing?

Currently in a difficult situation as I’m fleeing DV and will need to go down the temp housing route via the council - nervous. Baby is due in August I’m staying in an b&b there is no ventilation here and It is not suitable for a heavily pregnant person or a small baby I am also paying around 400 pound a month for rent which leaves basically nothing for myself and the thought of living in a B&B with a little one really worries me.
Any stories/experience?

Im sorry to hear about your situation.
I was in a similar situation to you last year although I wasn’t pregnant but did flee DV.
The council put me in a travel lodge for 10 weeks and I did to bid for houses every Wednesday .
It will depend on what rating the council put you on . I think it goes from bronze to platinum. I would presume you’d be quite high up due to being pregnant and vulnerable xx

Have you contacted Women’s Aid? They may be able to offer advice.

It’s just bad where im staying I’m struggling a lot right now I don’t have any sort of ventilation the room is overly hot I can’t use many of the facilities and I things are just not great at the moment so I really don’t know what to do
