If you had a growth scan towards the end of your pregnancy, how accurate was it?

Mine was very - had one week before went into labour and he was half a pound more than the scan predicted so pretty bang on for growth in that time!

Mine was very inaccurate. Week before labour and she was 1lb smaller

I had one the day before I was induced with my 10yr old and it was exactly the weight she was born at. But I also had one before I was induced with my 3yr old and it was way off, so it’s very hit and miss I think.

I happened to have one a few hours before I went into labour and it was 4oz out, so very accurate for me.

My baby measured at 8lb 11oz at 37 weeks and weighed 9lb when born at 39 weeks. Our Dr explained that the scans have a range, so she could have been anything between 6lb 11oz or 10lb 11oz. But they obviously try and be as accurate as they can be.

Mine predicted at 9lbs 9oz three days before baby girl was born… she was 9lbs 7oz, so extremely accurate.
