IVF BFP After 10 years

I'm beyond words. After 10 horrific years of infertility we gave IVF a go before going ahead with a hysterectomy due to stage 4 endo.

Official test day is tomorrow and, well...

😭 I can't believe it! First cycle! We only had one embryo survive following an awful egg retrieval count and awful fertilisation rate.

Congratulations! They always said to me that you only need one embryo (not literally, but you only need one embryo to be good enough!). We’re on Round 7 of treatment and I am just in to my third trimester after all but feeling like I was just going through the motions and it would never work out for us. I hope all goes well for you.

Thank you! 😭 I'm feeling like such an imposter and that it can't be real. Already taken 5 tests and ordered several more 🤦‍♀️

I think once we've had our 6 week scan I'll accept that it's for real! Part of me is still saying it's just the trigger and I'm going to look like a twat when there's no baby at the scan!

I've wanted this so bad for so long, was told it was never going to happen, that my brain is struggling to process it!

Amazing, congratulations 🥳. Our little one took just over 7 years to fall pregnant with and he really has healed some of the mental wounds infertility brought
