HCG 17

Looking for some advice or wisdom or similar experiences.

I have had 3x digital clearblue pregancy tests positive last week. They come up as 1-2 so approx 3-4 weeks.

Woke up today.
Crampy stomach like a tummy ache.
1x episode of vsginal bleeding (stopped now) and lower back pain
Went A&E on advice of 111

Urine dip in ED negative.
Blood HCG 17??

Im told to come back on Tuesday to pregancy unit for repeat HCG and a scan.

Freaking out im losing this baby :(

So sorry you are experiencing this. Unfortunately there is no way to know the outcome till you seen on Tuesday. For your info on my blood test these were the references I was given which also align with what the docs are saying.

hCG guidelines (intrauterine singleton GWS):
5-25 U/L: detectable hCG, to be monitored
25-750 U/L: pregnancy < 5 weeks, to be monitored
150-32000 U/L: +/- 6 weeks of pregnancy
3500-160000 U/L: +/- 7 weeks of pregnancy
32000-190000 U/L: +/- 8-10 weeks of pregnancy

bleeding in pregnancy is common (1 in 4) but is terrifying. I’ve had it twice, 1st time it was a miscarriage but 2nd time DS was born. I know the wait is agony as the 2nd time I started bleeding Friday night and didn’t see anyone till Monday. Just take it hour by hour.
