How did you ladies stop obsessing over line progression?

Fading lines was the first indication of my MC, and now I can’t stop worrying over this pregnancy. I only got my BFP on Wednesday, no idea what DPO.

I know if someone else showed me these I’d say they were absolutely fine. Please help me put my mind at ease so I can hopefully stop worrying so much 😔

Tentative congratulations 🎉
So my losses were all missed miscarriages, so my tests were absolutely fine and I never really looked at line progression. All I'd say is remind yourself that right now you are pregnant. And I'd recommend stepping away from the tests - continually testing is torturing yourself and won't change the outcome. Pregnancy after loss is so hard, just have to take each day as it comes as best you can x

I limited myself to a certain amount of tests for two weeks. Then when my lines had gotten basically as dark as they were going to get I had to call it quits. I know it wasn't going to change the outcome and that it didn't show me anything other than I had hcg in my urine still.
I think it helps knowing even after a mc or baby has stopped growing you can still have positives so it was a pointless endeavour.
21 weeks and still knicker check though, so can't kill all the habits! 😅

If the reassurance is short lived there is not much point is there? Try to remind yourself that there is nothing you can do and keep yourself busy x

Just a little update for anyone that reads this in the future. Lines progressed over the next few days and will now stop testing ❤️
