NT fluid on scan

Hi,

can anybody pinpoint where the NT fluid is on my 12 week scan? baby was moving a lot and it was hard to measure, on so many scan photos I can clearly see the NT but on mine I cant

That picture doesn’t show it clearly. your sonographer would have got (or tried to get) a much clearer picture for the measurement.

Hi, thank you, that makes sense. So the sonographer will have measured the NT fluid different and not just from this scan photo? He measured it at 1.0mm, he did struggle but was happy with it, I guess. I’ve been trying to find it on this imagine which is impossible. Baby was too active so this was the nicest scan shot they could get for us. So think this photo was for us rather than the NT. We only got 1 photo.

No, they don't just measure it from one photo. They will measure at the optimal moment during the scan when they have the best image. That image most likely won't be the nicest image for you though.
