I should be just over 10 weeks (I’m a bit of a nervous wreck, I posted a few days ago and got some lovely reassurance on here.
ANYWAY I just haven’t felt pregnant today, have felt normal, got painful chin spots which I normally get with my period.
Been discharge checking all day and tonight it was like a dark yellowy splodge (sorry TMI!) i will add this is not unusual for me, I do get it sometimes, have always been tested for infection but comes back clear.
When I saw that discharge I could feel the heat rising through my body and I still feel panicky.
Im going to be on edge now all evening 😫

perhaps your placenta has taken over. I could feel the difference when mine did and was so worried it was another mc but all ended up well.

Differences in discharge and symptoms that come and go are all normal in early pregnancy.

@Olika - thank you for responding, I started bleeding at 11 weeks last time and because I’m not there yet, I’m adamant it will end like last time
The dishcharge has really panicked me.
This is so hard 🥲🥲

In all honestly - none of this really means anything.
I wouldn’t be concerned unless I had bleeding and/or pain (I’ve had bleeding throughout and even then it’s still been ok) others have explained the placenta starts to take over round about now - and hormones are still up and down throughout pregnancy - please don’t panic.
when’s your scan?

Kate3150 · 27/06/2025 18:24

@Xwx1010 - it’s not for another 3 weeks 😫
I feel like I do when I’m on my period today, spotty skin and tummy (higher up) is a bit uncomfortable.
I just wish I was past where I was last time, I started bleeding about 11 1/2 weeks

Have calmed down a bit since Friday but still
toilet paper checking everytime I go, which is a lot as im trying to be good and drink loads of water.
Got a midwife appt this week which I really really don’t want to go to, it’s going to bring up lots of memories of last time I was there and it ultimately ending in a loss.

@Kate3150 glad you’re feeling a little better. I’m 21w and still on toilet roll watch unfortunately, not sure I’ll ever fully relax. I know how difficult it is after loss, I’ve had 2 ectopics and a MMC.
at my booking appt I made a point of saying what I wasn’t willing to go into, ie discussions of birth etc as I just wanted to get through next few weeks.
I’ve had waves of symptoms, no symptoms, good skin, bad skin, cramps, no cramps, bleeding - everything is up and down and stress/weather/hormones all play a part!

I was nauseous week6-8 but after that I’ve been largely fine, odd days etc but still managed to eat most of the time.

would you consider a private scan? I was really apprehensive but the woman is a sonographer and midwife in the local hospital and really knew her stuff - actually the best scan I’ve had out of them all. If you can find a good place then it can help.

if not can throw yourself into distraction - house stuff, cleaning, hobbies, jigsaws, gardening, binge tv, seeing friends, whatever takes your mind off it xx
