Have you tried taking a digital test which shows you how many weeks you are? This might give you some reassurance!
My tests were always faint. They didn’t get any darker and most looked like thick evap lines but I have a little one here to cuddle now.
My midwife said that happens as a positive test is still a positive test no matter how light or dark it is!
