Hi
I had a scan a couple of days ago and the sonographer made comment that my placenta was growing to the left. She gave me a print out of her observations of which it was noted.
I then had a look on google (probably worst thing I could do) and it says it’s fairly uncommon and carries a higher risk of preeclampsia and IUGR. The thing is, I have already suffered with both when having my previous children so I’m now wondering if it could have been caused by this? And if so, will it happen again. Luckily, I will be consultant led due to my previous pregnancy issues but I’m just feeling worried about it.
Thanks
