Basically as the title says - I posted on here at the start if this month as I had a couple bfp's then bfn's. I have patiently waited and waited to bleed and it just hasn't happened. No spotting or anything. Usually, when I'm due on dtd helps nature take its course! We have done it alot recently, I did notice some ewcm a couple times but thought it was chemical related so carried on anyway.
Anyway, my dh came home with tests and asked me to take one just to check, I did and got the attached. It's very faint but he saw it before I did and it was there within a minute. Nice and pink.

I guess my question is, can you have a chemical and get pregnant again without a bleed? Has this happened to anyone? Do yoy think there's more risk as I've not gone through the normal motions? I'll do another one in the am (he bought a 3 pack bless him!) But in the meantime I would love to know if this has happened to anyone else, and what the outcome was.

Any advice and experience on this is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance x

Yes I did.

My first early loss I was so devastated I didn’t try again for another 3 years…

it happened again this November but this time I was determined that I really did want my third baby so I tried immediately after. I managed to get pregnant without having another bleed and so my new due date (now 35 weeks) is 5 weeks after the original.

i have read you can be especially fertile after an early loss.

This pregnancy I took baby aspirin as soon as I got my positive result. I’m not sure if it did anything to keep the pregnancy but I haven’t had any problems this time.

good luck OP

This happened to me - a chemical, then (an IVF) pregnancy on next cycle which ended in miscarriage, then a natural pregnancy on next cycle without a period in between.

There’s no extra risk - it just might make dating the pregnancy a bit tricker in the early weeks but this will sort itself out once you have your first scan.

Yes I had a chemical and then didn’t have a period after that until after I had my little one! I’d say my cycle was delayed slightly after it though so my due date was maybe a week or 2 later than expected, which I was really worried about but she is 2 now so needn’t have been!

Yes, happened to me with DC #3. Chemical then got pregnant on the next cycle. Didn’t have a period in between. Wasn’t even trying because we were devastated, it was our second miscarriage.
DC #3 is now 1 year old and thriving.

Hi lovely, yes, I had a chemical in November 2023, pregnant straight away December 2023, turned out to be another chemical, pregnant again straight away January 2024, my baby is now 9 months old. Best of luck xx

Thank you for all your responses! I am so glad I am not alone with this! It's actually really lovely to hear you all went on to have beautiful babies, congrats to you all!

My test this am is still a bfp but alot fainter than yesterday afternoons. I think this is down to my toddler kicking and screaming until 3am because of the heat and me drinking and peeing all night long! I will test again this afternoon but I am dedinately more at easy knowing there's no extra risk. Thank you x

Yes,
I weaned my DS1 at 20months and my periods took couple months to settle but got a BFP after 3 days it faded it was around 9-12DPO. I had a horrendous period, i assume a big clear out. And the following Month I got pregnant snd DS2 didn't want to leave so was evicted at 42weeks.

I did make sure in prep to take high dosage of Vit D 9000IU, Vit C, ubiquininoa C0Q10 and cut out caffeine.
