Hi everyone/anyone that might listen…

im currently 7+6- fifth pregnancy with only one child earth side. I’ve been under the recurrent miscarriage clinic and I’m consequently on Cyclogest pessaries (rectal)

last week I was in hospital with my son who had a severe bug and I ended up catching it. Before this I had some slight nausea but no vomiting. I was very nauseous on the 5 days of the bug but now that that’s over I’ve got no symptoms at all.

this evening I’ve gone to the toilet and wiped and got this discharge- can anyone help please?

im due to go on holiday tomorrow morning so I’ve been avoiding booking a private scan due to risks of (selfishly) ruining our first family holiday 😭

I’ve had this. I’m currently 10+3 and had a scan on Saturday with the EPU and everything looked great. I was so worried when I was spotting/weird discharge at 7+4 and then again at 8+6. I went to EPU they swabbed me and did bloods and everything came back normal so try not to worry.

Changes in discharge is completely normal in early pregnancy, even lightly bloody discharge can be normal. It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong although as you've had miscarriages before, the chance is higher.

All you can do is see how things go, if it stops or increases, if you develop any symptoms like pain/bleeding.
Or book a private scan when you return from holiday to see how things are progressing.

Try not to worry too much, I know it's very difficult but try to enjoy your holiday.

I had this for at least a week starting around 8 weeks and all was fine. Hope it doesn’t last for long and you can enjoy your holiday x
