So am 9 weeks tomorrow. Had an early scan on Saturday and all looking good.

I have been lucky with symptoms and have only really had nausea and tiredness and sensitive nipples.

The last week the tirednesss and nausea really intensified and I was so exhausted it was hard to function and lots of nausea and food aversion.

Today every symptom has completely vanished aside from a very brief wave of slight nausea first thing.

Am I being silly to worry? Is this normal? My worries aren’t helped by the fact I had a horrible miscarriage dream last night!😢

My first midwife appointment is on Monday.

@Yellowdaff25 I'm 40+1, and have had days where I had fewer symptoms and days where I had lots of symptoms - it really varies from pregnancy to pregnancy.

The first 12 weeks are really tough mentally, so easiest way to think about it is to remember that you're pregnant until someone tells you that you aren't. Good luck!

(Also, there's a great miscarriage odds calculator that kept me going in the early weeks - just in care that helps: https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer)

I'm the same, awful weeks 6 and 7 but week 8 has slowly just been getting better. Just exhausted and very very light nausea. I've read sooo many posts saying the same thing weeks 8/9, I've actually read another today of someone worrying the same thing. I think it can be completely normal. Having symptoms doesn't mean you'll have a successful pregnancy, and not having symptoms doesn't mean things are going badly x

Dsis had this - was absolutely convinced it was the worst news. Went for a scan and it was twins!

Thank you for the replies, they’ve made me feel a bit better! I’ve also got home and the nausea is back as well as the simultaneous desire to eat absolutely everything🫠🤨
