Hi All,
Looking for some advice or reassurance... i am pregnant at 6 weeks 6 days. This is my 2nd pregnancy, first pregnancy led to a miscarriage at 7 weeks.
So since yesterday morning i have been lightly bleeding (only when going toilet/wiping) i went to the GDAU yesterday and they did a scan and confirmed the baby is fine, heart is beating. They did tell me that they couldnt find any reasons for the bleed. They have advised that if i am bleeding on and off in the next two weeks then this is normal and i should not worry. If only the bleeding is everyday and gets heavier then i should contact my GP who can refer me to GDAU again for another scan.
My question is - has anyone else been through this and was everything ok? Should i get a 2nd opinion?

Hi, sorry youre going trough this.

I had bleeding on and off from 8 weeks til 18 weeks. It never got heavier though. Never found a reason why. Im now 34 weeks now.

Try your best to not worry. I know its a very scary and stressful time but at this gestation the baby is so small, so no matter what, medical professionals cannot prevent whatever the outcome will be.

Its good news that your scan confirmed baby is okay so try to relax and dont do anything too strenuous.

Remeber, your cervix becomes v sensitive during pregnancy so anything can trigger a bleed.

Sending you hugs!
