Small red spots on body 9 weeks pregnant

So today having a shower I noticed these red spots on my legs and a few on my chest aswell.. they are not itchy or painful to touch I feel well otherwise just tired and sickness but that’s usual pregnancy symptoms… what could this be? I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday will mention to her but just wondering if anyone else had them??

It is hard to guess what they might be based on the photos but I would get these checked out by a doctor. It’s probably just ‘pregnancy’ but it is worth asking as red spots can sometimes indicate low platelet levels which would need them keeping an eye on. My friend had this and was fine.

It might not be this all so please don’t worry.

Thank you! It has been really hot here in the past few days so I am not sure if it could be due to the heat aswell. I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday so will definitely mention. This is my second pregnancy and I agree with you some bizarre things happen to your body lol
but I do also have anxiety so any small thing just scares me too :( thanks for the reassurance really helps x

I had these on my thighs when pregnant too. Definitely show the midwives, but if you don’t also have a fever, itching, or other symptoms then it is most likely nothing. 🤞

Hey, yeah nothing coming with them atm. It has been very hot here so wondering if it could be the heat causing them. I have an appointment on Wednesday so will definitely show her the midwife x

yeah I also have a feeling it is due to the heat as i was literally soo hot for the past 3-4 days it’s just calmed down last night lol
