My daughter messaged from Oz to say her 10 week and 1 day pregnancy was being terminated because there is no baby in the sac. At first she was told it was a phantom pregnancy but today at scan she it was confirmed as a blighted ovum.
l had never heard of this… she has been extremely sick and generally unwell and to get to this point and find out there is no baby has been devastating.
I want to give her a cuddle but of course across the miles I can’t, I’ve made a parcel of treats for her and her 26 th month old daughter and messaged her husband, what else can I do? Has anybody else experienced this? Did you go on to have more children/ another child?
