Hi Everyone,

I need some advice. In 2023 i suffered with a miscarriage. I am currently 8weeks and 5 days pregnant but my morning sickness has disappeared but I still have sore breasts. is there anything to be worried about? I think I'm just panicking for no reason but i cant help but think i might go through what I've been through before and I'm really scared. I have no cramping or heavy bleeding but i do get little twinges on each side of my abdomen. Has anyone else experienced this and can help? Thank you

I had this exact thing. I also had losses in the past so when my morning sickness disappeared at about 9 weeks I was so worried. I hastily booked a private scan, and everything turned out to be fine. The sonographer even laughed and said she sees this all the time. Symptoms can come and go, and it doesn't mean anything is wrong. My morning sickness returned the next day!

Thank you so much honestly I've been a mess overthinking things but its nice to be able to talk to someone who has had the same symptoms and experiences, makes me feel like I'm not alone. Can you advise I'm waiting for my midwife appointment but are there anything things I should look out for for in terms of foods and what not to eat?

This has happened to me today! 8w4d. I don't think there is any way to know if things are okay without a scan. I've got one booked in for Wednesday so it'll just be a waiting game for now :(

I had the same at the same time period and I was so stressed I would mc again but all was fine. It’s really hard after previous mc but all you can is hope for the best (and perhaps have a private scan which I did).
