Self Check Blood Test

Hi! I’m a 24yo F, I have a DD. But I’m looking for advice. I took a self check pregnancy test after faint positives on Easy@Homes and OneStep strip tests and a mix of negatives. I had my coil out end of May due to a suspected chemical pregnancy.

anyway, I’ve took 2 SelfCheck Blood Tests and they both have faint lines but I’m unsure whether to take it as gospel as they both have dye runs on them too, I tried posting in a mum group on FB asking for advice as my GP won’t do a beta HCG but has referred me to the midwife without confirming pregnancy and was met with a lot of people saying they’re negative and invalid.

has anyone experienced this and it’s actually been correct? both photos were took in the time frame stated on the box.

Wait a few days and do a digital?
I really don’t think you can say on those tests because of the dye run, so people saying they’re invalid are right.
Odd they’ve referred you to MW at this stage though, there’s usually a minimum amount of weeks before referral. What country are you in?

I’m in the UK, I’d be roughly 4w1d and they want her to get me in at around 6/7 weeks instead of the usual 8-10 weeks. I thought it was peculiar they’d referred me without waiting but they won’t do a HCG blood test.

If you're only 4 weeks then you're only just due on your period (assuming regular cycles, may be out of whack due to coil removal?). Still early days.

I'm not sure why you would need to be referred. I'd just test over the next week to see what's happening . Normal urine strip tests would suffice!

I’ve been using test strips too, I bought these out of curiosity tbh 😂 I thought the save thing about being referred x
