Hi everyone,
Hoping someone might have some insight! Yesterday I noticed a small lump on the roof of my mouth, just above my back teeth. Today it’s turned into more of a red, patchy cluster. It looks flat but feels bumpy when I run my tongue over it. It’s not painful at the moment, just strange – I’ve never had anything like this before.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? I'm currently 24 + 6 weeks pregnant so not sure if it could be related… Appreciate any advice or reassurance!

I've not a clue, but would wonder about an ulcer or burn? Did you eat food that was too hot recently (always me and margherita pizza!)?

Could be a burn ( chemical or heat - some acidic fruits can do this including tomatoes).
If you are prone to cold sores they can affect the inside of your mouth and this is a common site for them.
It does look and sound like a cold sore. It may become more ulcer like over the next few days. May be worth a visit to the dentist if it doesn’t clear up quickly.
If it does ulcerate use hot salt water to keep it clean. There’s not much else you can use during pregnancy.
