36+1wk today. Had my scan and was told baby is head down and low. All positive news ! There has been intense pressure in my pelvic area for the past few weeks. Every time i go for a wee I feel like the baby is going to pop right out !
Since yesterday I've been having lower back pain and very mild period cramps and aches in my back, buttocks and thighs.
Anybody else in/been in a similar position? Im really hoping baby stays in till at least 37weeks so I can give birth at the birth centre! My first one came at 39wks and I certainly dont remember feeling this kind of pressure down below.

Yes almost the exact same, baby number 2 dropped around 34 weeks it was like I had a bowling ball in my crotch. Started getting period pains and cramps around 36 weeks born at ,37+5 😊

Currently 36+2 and experiencing the same. i had my midwife appointment last week & my bump had noticeably dropped the day after. Had a lot of tightenings and period like pains today...

I had same thing and baby was as engaged as could be from around 35 weeks, I could barely walk from the pressure! He didn’t turn up until 39+4! Good luck xx
