Trapped on a boiling hot train

Hi All, first time poster on here! Apologies if this comes across as OTT, I am naturally a worrier. This is my first pregnancy and was through IVF, so a bit of a journey to get here!

Am 9 and a half weeks, and doing my commute home from work. The packed train abruptly stopped on the tracks (broke down) and it took them about 45 mins to get it started again. The train was absolutely boiling, with no air con and it was extremely uncomfortable. I had some water and was fanning myself. I just wanted hopefully some reassurance that this shouldn’t have done my baby damage, I have googled about raising core body temperature when pregnant (never a good idea!!) and it did worry me. But then I think that people have babies in warm climates all the time with no issues and must encounter hot trains etc. Please could anyone share their experience / put my mind at rest? Thank you x

Its more uncomfortable for you. As you said women from incredibly hot countries have babies all the time and its fine.

Be kind to yourself. If you do find yourself being anxious during pregnancy I really recommend Expecting Better by Emily Oster. There is a hell of a lot of scaremongering in pregnancy and she breaks down the actual studies. Why people say you shouldn't do x or y in pregnancy and the science behind it. Put my mind at ease about a lot and allowed me to make informed decisions.

You need to relax and start being logically when in tricky situations.
What damage do you think could possibly happen - then logically think that through slowly

Thank you all for your reassuring words :) @Cocomelonhauntsme I will look into the book recommendation, thank you so much!
