Implant but tested positive?!

Hi mums,

feeling a bit confused here, went to the doctors last week as I wasn’t feeling myself, sore boobs and feeling faint and unwell. The doctor said we better do a pregnancy test in case, she did three, two were negative and this one, she thinks had a faint line, personally I can’t see it? She sent me to a&e as I also had blood in my urine (not a period as I haven’t had a period for months) and she was thinking maybe ectopic pregnancy.

Got to a&e, they did blood tests, confirmed I wasn’t pregnant but also said I did have blood in my urine strip test and just to take it easy and maybe get my urine checked again next week.

Home now still feeling under the weather and really not sure what’s going on, anyone got any ideas?! Thank you x

Was it a blood or urine pregnancy test the hospital did? Personally I wouldn’t be happy with blood in urine and being told to wait a week. I’d be going back to my GP ASAP.

The hospital did a blood test and a urine test. They said there was no pregnancy detected with my blood test but there was blood in urine 😕

The chances of the blood pregnancy test not having accurate results are slim so I would trust that you aren’t pregnant and something else is at play. I would go back to my GP and ask for further investigations.
