7 Weeks pregnant anxiety

Ladies I just needed to put this down in writing because I just cannot tell anyone how I'm feeling!

I'm 40, into week 8 (7 weeks 3 days) of my pregnancy.

Super bloated, nausea, sleepy, hungry but feeling like something might go wrong! I already have a 4 year old boy and I know this is probably my last chance for no.2.

I've had 10+ MC and 1 MMC all before DS. over a 15 year period.

I just feel like given my age and history something is about to go wrong and its really affecting me with my sleep and concentrating on work etc

I had a missed miscarriage and spotted from weeks 6-10 with DS so I get the anxiety. I thought the anxiety would go away after 12 weeks but it didn’t so I had to actively take steps. It also didn’t help that my sport is not pregnancy safe so no longer had my usual down time. I journaled which helped me work through my anxiety and also binged on easy watch Netflix series. I also treated myself after each appointment so they were something I would look forward to. It does get easier once you start to feel them move daily and then you know things are well!

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I'm so sorry to hear about your own experience. MMC is the worst because everything is fine then what you believe to be a routine 12 week scan turns into a nightmare.

My work keeps me very busy and my husband is very supportive by pampering me and keeping my 4 yo DS at arms length when I need the space.

I'll try binging on a show but every time I sit down I just want to sleep 😴

Remember something could go wrong with any pregnacy. Main thing is stay calm and let your body do its thing!

Wish you all the best my dear
