Hi ladies! I had a private 4d scan last week although baby had his back turned so we were asked to come back a week later for a rescan.
We went in today, and the sonographer seemed really concerned as he is very low. My bump has dropped over the last week or so, and I do have a lot of lighting crotch / pains in my behind (tmi sorry). There is a lot of pressure as well.

her exact words were, ‘he should not be this low down this early and I am scared incase he is planning something, either that or he’s just ‘comfy’. But her concern was that he’s very low down in the pelvis (where she was scanning seemed very much like she was having to press on my pubic bone).

she told me to keep an eye on this but didn’t have much more advice / information other than to rest.

I have just finished up work for mat leave, and my shifts until now have been very physical as I work on a nursing ward and spend most of the time on my feet / up and down 13 hours at a time.

I don’t know if I should be concerned with how low he is at this stage, or if I’m just scared by what the sonographer has said and how concerned she seemed.

any advice please? He’s been low down for a while now but the last few days have been intense pressure wise and I didn’t realise how low he is until she showed me today.

I would just speak to your midwife and they will likely reassure you!
