No line progression with the first response dark pink caps - is it just me?

Hello

Is it just me or has anyone else had issues with having no line progression with the first response test? It is making me spiral! The line has not progressed in 5 days, it has stayed the same.

I’ve had 2 miscarriages previously so worried this is another miscarriage. I’ve had my HCG taken at 5 weeks and came back at 1500 and progesterone 77. I had a follow up blood test 48 hours later but waiting for my results - it’s now the weekend so I’m going to have to wait until Monday!

With my daughter, I could see clear line progression on the first response but I noticed they were the clear pink caps.

Thanks

The bottom one is fresh so the line normally takes a while to darken with these tests I noticed

I’m not really sure what you’re expecting them to do. They’re designed to test if you’re pregnant or not. You are (congrats!). I get it’s an anxiety inducing time but you are having bloods done which should help and also ultimately if something is going to go wrong (and it’s more likely that everything will be absolutely fine!) then constant testing won’t help or stop that in any way. Step away from the tests and just be happy with the fact that right now you are pregnant.

They look fine to me? If you want to see the dye stealer your hcg might have jumped so much it went straight to hook effect.
I never got much of a dye stealer, once both lines got the same darkness it stayed like that for a week. I tried doing one test with 100% urine and one diluted with 80% water and both tests came out the same.
