Keep me company please- I’m being induced and I’m scared

Hi all,
I have been at the hospital since this morning as I am being induced. So far not much has changed…
I have read so many horror stories lately of people being induced so I am really scared of what’s to come. I’m not sure what I’m asking for but maybe just some kind words to help me get through this :)

Oh you poor thing. It can be scary. It's been a long long time since I was last induced. i was induced with two of my children. I believe it's all changed since then. My daughter is going in to be induced next Friday.

I remember that feeling, I was so scared of being induced after hearing bad stories. But I had the drip, it was all fine and I was ok on gas and air. Remember that you're more likely to hear bad stories because people saying 'it was actually fine' doesn't make a story worth telling!

I had a really good one too! The first round of gel didn't do much but the second kicked labour in and my waters went on their own etc, had a lovely fast delivery with my son. Sending you alllll the positive vibes 💫

@Lovebythesea im being induced next week if nothing happens and I’ve a feeling it won’t . I understand how you feel. Are they doing gels first ? I’ve been told they will try gels first when I go in. Hope all goes ok for you.

Do you have netflix? That's pretty much what I did. You'll be fine, just may be a wait for you! Have a walk around and try to keep busy, but also lots of rest while you can! X
