Hiya I’m inquiring about advice ie council applications while pregnant
in currently 14 weeks pregnant due December and practically living with my partner although I’m not on the tenancy agreement or anything so no proof to show council
he rents his place but the landlord wants him out in October
I was previously living with my mother before falling pregnant however she is also pregnant and wants me out permanently so her baby can have my room
I’m in receipt of universal credit with the disability element and my partner works full time but still struggles to pay private rent (is left wirh pennies after paying rent)
does anyone have any suggestion or recommendations for how to go about applying together for housing also if anyone knows would my entitlement to uc/disability element be affected by his earnings

You'd need to apply online first of all to the organisation that handles social housing applications in your area. All the information will be available on your local council website..

Next, get yourself to citizens advice and to shelter to find out what you're entitled to and if you could be housed. It's extremely difficult to get on the housing list nowadays and even if you are lucky you could be waiting years. I wish you luck.
