Had my 20 weeks scan today, she said the blood flow to the placenta has triggered me to have growth scans at 28 and 36 weeks. She said it’s nothing to worry about but I can’t help but worry, she has given me a leaflet ‘Uterine Artery Doppler’. I’ve not heard of it and nothing like this in previous pregnancies so feeling a little anxious right now. Anyone else have anything like this in any pregnancy at all?

I had low Papp A last pregnancy identified at 12 weeks, which they think could be correlated with the placenta working less efificiently. For that you have growth scans and an UAD at extra growth scans I think at 28, 32, 36, 39 weeks. When I went in at 39 weeks they did identify that blood flow in the cord had reduced using the UAD and suggested an induction.

I know it's hard not to worry but I'd just try and take it as a a positive that they're keeping an eye on it, and most likely everythig will be fine when you do go.
