Hi,

I’m 37 weeks and due to have an elective C-section for breech baby in a couple of weeks. As well as this, I have gestational diabetes, so have been collecting colostrum and freezing it. I seem to be getting a lot, and I probably have around 30 full 1ml syringes in the freezer at the moment.

I am not planning on breastfeeding, due to having huge boobs pre pregnancy (34J) but want to give baby syringes to help with his blood sugars when he’s born. My hospital has ample storage and I have checked this.

How much should I take to the hospital with us? Has anyone else done this and can you tell me how much you used? Don’t want to waste any if I can help it!
