Baby three fifths today.Can anyone advise me about something related to this?

Hi,
JUST over 34 wks. & midwife has said baby is 3/5 engaged today.My previous pregnacy ds was born at 36 wks.& I was 2/5 eng.Midwife kinda said i should make sure I'm organised as things might be going thesame way as last pregnancy,but also baby does bob a bout a bit in subsequent pregnancies so doesn't always mean something is imminent!This will be my 4th preg.Does 3/5th mean anything significant?
I know you are prob. goingto tell me how long is piece of string,and there is no way of knowing....but what I was mainly wondering was could I stay at 2/5ths for the next 6 weeks(til term)or beyond quite easily? Thanks,Rascals.

My MW told me last week, that subsequent pregnancies can follow the same pattern as previous pregnancies, so maybe your body is getting ready,

hello - as i recall it is how much of the head the midwife can feel (so 2/5 means 3/5 is in your pelvic area and 3/5 means 2/5 in pelvic area IYSWIM) so 2/5 is MORE engaged than 3/5 (5/5 is not engaged at all).

I was 3/5 for about 8 weeks but think I'm quite unusual!

the fact you had a previous baby early might mean something.. you might well have this one a bit early too. engagement is a bit meaningless., i was 3/5 for 6 weeks. DD born on due date
