Hi everyone,
I was due my first baby last week but still no sign of he/she arriving. I haven’t even been able to get a sweep as I wasn’t dilated at all. We made the decision to book an induction for next week and I’m feeling really nervous, especially as I’m worried I’m not dilated and also worried about how long it’ll take and the pain involved.
I do want an epidural but don’t want gas & air, pethidine etc (basically anything that’ll make me seem “out of it”).
Just looking to hear positive stories please from people who’ve gone through similar? How long did your induction take? At what stage were you offered the epidural? Any tips?
