BFP? Due AF yesterday/today

Hi everyone,

Any advice would be appreciated.
I average at a 28 day cycle and usually very regular.
I was due AF yesterday but had the strangest week.
I had unprotected sex a few times before ovulation days 10,11 and 13.

On Monday I had SEVERE pelvic pain to the point I could not stand straight and felt dizzy, It did settle but would have taken myself to ED if not. Then on Tuesday spotting, Wednesday Thursday light bleeding on wiping only. Then it settled. Thought I had an earlier period and in all honestly was suprised I did not progress to needing to use my Mooncup. I put a liner on and nothing yesterday and this morning fully expecting AF. (Now day 29)

Any way had some tests in the cupboard - Used one this morning not expecting anything and to my surprise theres a line. It is faint but definately a blue line! I am off on holiday next week so just wanted to check before I started on the Sangria…. Could I be pregnant? Do not want to take another test in all honesty as they are expensive 🤣

Yes i can see it now. If it showed up in time then it's positive.

It could be either unfortunately. Those tests are a bit unreliable apparently. On balance I'd expect a stronger positive since your period is already late, but that doesn't mean it's negative. I know it's a cost but I would try another if you can ❤️

This is how my tests was and im now currently 17 weeks.

Everyone seems to say that these tests are notorious for false positives and evaps, but mine is literally the thinnest line in the world and im still pregnant!
I think if its come up in the time frame its definitely a positive!! Congrats

Having some faint lines, negative tests and a late period.

How many DPO were you after this? Or days past your expected period? I am 3 and still getting only a very faint line on Clear Blue - maybe I am testing too soon? But the conception forum makes it look like you should be getting a positive immediately after ovulation and it getting darker towards AF.

everything I thought I knew about TTC has gone out the window - I thought you tested a few days after your expected period and a ‘line was a line’ and that was the end of it.

all of this talk about evaps, line progression etc is sending my head into a spin. I can see why people get so stressed about it

No the conception boards are extreme. People testing at 7dpo etc are not the norm.
If you have a visible line then you are pregnant.

my friend last year tested on the digital it told her she was 2-3 weeks pregnant and she was 8 weeks - she got a scan and all was fine. She also told me she tested a day or two after her expected period and basically there was no line as ‘why would there be so early on’. She then tested couple of weeks later and it was a faint positibe. She thought she was doomed - now she has a 1 year old!
