13 weeks pregnant &bleeding

I’m 13 weeks pregnant and had some blood when went to toilet. Phoned midwife and she said just monitor it. If it gets like a period then phone back. Just really worried now incase something is wrong. Anyone else had this?
had 12 week scan few days ago and baby is ok but can’t help being worried now

I had this, it was like a heavy bleed. At 13 weeks, i went to EPAU and was scanned and was told it was just a SCH, Ive been bleeding but more brown discharge since and im 17 weeks tomorrow!

Seemed to have stopped now but I can’t help but worry. I don’t see the midwife until 3rd July. Had scan only few days ago and baby was fine. But all I’m doing now is worrying as this is my first.

This happened to me at 16 weeks. Really scary and hospital didn’t even want to see me when I called.

It stopped as soon as it started and it sounds like yours will be ok too.

i hope so.. I’m really a worrier.

Had this with two successful pregnancies, for weeks and weeks. It was an etropicon.
I realise retrospectively that they don’t want to see you when there’s nothing they can do to help you. Things change as you get past 20 weeks.

I had this in my last pregnancy, at 14 weeks. Midwife wasn’t concerned at all and said it was likely irritation to my cervix. Can you get a private scan to put your mind at rest?

1 in 4 women bleed in pregnancy, most often in the 2nd trimester it’s due to cervical irritation, a burst blood vessel (increased blood flow around uterus when pregnant) fibroid, or SCH. I’ve bled throughout brown, pink and red and every scan has shown baby was ok. I had a SCH at 10w but was resolving and not seen at 12w. I bled bright red again at 15w and I was seen in hops for a cervical exam and scan - All was ok. I know it’s hard but 99% of the time all will be ok- if it steps up or goes red insist on a scan xx
