Hi guys,

Just developed SPD over the last few weeks - any idea what support belts are good/work?

Thanks!

Have you been refered to physio? Mine gave me a wide elasticated belt to wear that did help, though I didn't have SPD as bad as some - walking very hard but crutches not required. Also found belly bras from Bump 2 Three really good and wore both belt and bra together, just the belly bra at night.

Ask your GP or midwife for a referral to obstetric physio, I'm so glad I went as the exercises and girdle they've given me have made loads of difference. I attended a back pain in pregnancy session and self referred. It has implications post pregnancy if ignored and as all SPD is different, it's worth getting it seen to cos what is good for one may be useless for another. Good luck.
