Am I losing my pregnancy?

Hello,

I'm looking for some opinions for those of you who have experienced similar.

I took a pregnancy test last week when I was due and it was positive. (Im around 4 weeks) I had sex Tuesday morning and started spotting after that. Since then I have been lightly bleeding when I wipe. Sometimes it looks like it's stopped or stopping and then other times it doesn't, i had no cramping or discomfort. This morning (4th day) it seems to be getting a little more. Still somewhat light but more like a watered down period. I've put on a pad this morning and it's not soaking it but there's more blood than the previous days. From others with similar experiences does this sound like I'm likely losing this pregnancy or potentially something else? Just need to mentally prepare myself. I'm struggling with not being able to know either way now and just want to settle my mind.

Thank you for any advice or thoughts x

Hello, I have simila, mine are like brown, and from what I read it could be anything from normal to miscarriage.

You can share a photo if you want, it could help to understand how much we're talking.

Another solution is to call 111 and they can guide you for next steps or reassurance.

Thank you

I was worried about grossing anyone out. It was less the past 3 days but been more like this today with sometimes it being more with some dull cramping/ache as well. I'm struggling with the fact that I just have to wait and see.

I had light brown spotting when I was around 5 weeks, from everything I had read its very normal, but I unfortunatly lost the pregnancy a week later. No one would see me when I contacted the EPU (via the GP referral) when I started spotting as I was under 6 weeks. I felt very dismissed. Fingers crossed everything is ok for you

I bled like this (and worse) with both my pregnancies ans turned out to be ok.

The sex could have irritated your cervix and therefore bleeding slightly. It could be old implantation bleeding. Try to rest and relax and hope all is well

From looking at pictures online, that seems normal to me. However, goggling doesn't make me a doctor.

Thank you all! I'm keeping everything crossed but your words have helped ease the anxiety a bit at least. I really appreciate you taking the time

I bled in pregnancy at this point and the baby was perfectly healthy. My niece bled a huge amount and again totally healthy. It’s way more common than you hear about. I would see the gp on Monday but try not to stress. I would take it very easy this weekend and try to relax. Hoping everything is ok for you.

Thank you so much! I'm really hoping everything is OK 🤞
