This came up straight away but it's my fourth pregnancy and I've never had a line this thin?

Eyes please?

There is definitely a line. Even I can see it and I don't often on these posts.

There's some sort of a line but it looks a bit dodgy. Can you get a different brand?

mairimhor · 05/06/2025 15:47

It went more blue as time passed but did appear straight away. I've got some cheap HCG sticks and only had very incredibly faint lines, but I had a MC last month and don't know when I'd be due, though I think I'm 10ish dpo. My HCG had gone back to 0 after the MC

I would say that’s an evap and I wouldn’t trust it. Use a different brand to confirm before getting hopes up.

I had another identical result this morning with the other Clear blue test in the pack - a line appeared within the time frame but still very thin. So far I haven't had a clear positive on anything else (though haven't had my period either...)

I've seen on lots of other threads that these tests are notorious for producing an evap line even though it has the colour...how disappointing. I wasn't actively TTC this month as I was quite poorly after my MC but would have been overjoyed if it had happened 😔

For anyone following or searching similar, this was a false positive/evap line. I had this on two of these tests and also a line on a normal clear blue test - avoid!!

I'm so sorry, it's just cruel. I had the same on clearblue, we'd been trying for a long time and it was an evap.

mairimhor · 08/06/2025 14:03

@fairgame84i know. I hadn't got my hopes up hugely as I found out quite quickly that they were bad for evap lines but it was still a blip in recovery I didn't need!! Sorry to hear you'd been there too
