Spontaneous pregnancy after IVF

I’m in shock. I’ve never had a BFP from a spontaneous pregnancy before but today at about 10/11 DPO I have a faint line.

We had IVF to conceive my 2.5 year old. This exact time last year we transferred an embryo and that resulted in a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. Another embryo transfer in January ended at 5 weeks and our last round of IVF in April only resulted in 1 embryo which didn’t stick.
I’d heard stories of people falling pregnant between ivf etc but they always seemed to happen to other people and I rolled my eyes when I heard them🙈 Thd ivf meds for the next cycle just turned up earlier 😅

I am so terrified! I have some spotting - which always happens in my luteal phase. I have started taking progesterone as advised by the ivf clinic. But this is the exact same timings as the embryo transfer last year that resulted in a missed miscarriage. I don’t know hot to get through the next few days and weeks!!

I know there isn’t anything anyone can say. It will be what it will be. It’s so tough!

Congrats! We had something similar - i did ovulation induction for DD1 after 2years ttc and then DD2 was a spontaneous conception - i found out I was pregnant whilst waiting for the right point in my cycle to have an HSG 🙈 assuming that we'd need treatment again for a second child. They are now 4yo and 14m. Hope you also have a successful story!
