ASDA own brand tests? POS or Neg?

Hey,
I’m 12DPO, just taken an ASDA own brand (2 for about £3.50) 25mlU sensitive test, this isn’t FMU as didn’t have time to go get one until after lunch.
The positive came up straight away and got darker as it dried, but I’ve just read some negative reviews about false positives but not since 2018, so I’m really just wondering if anyone has had any recent issues with these tests? Also would you say these are positive or negative? Just after some advice/reassure.
Been TTC for over a year and due to start fertility testing next cycle so would be amazing timing…
thanks in advance :)

Yes, retested with FMU and clear blue digital sensitive and Not Pregnant result😢 absolutely gutted but not surprised after reading reviews x

Have added pic of test dried to show how clear a positive it was!!

Yes these, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are all the same tests and I had many false positives on them last year. The only way to be sure with faint lines is to see if they darken in the coming days. There is only 1 brand of tests that I would trust and they are the orange strip tests, I think they are the premom ones I got from amazon. They never even dried with evap lines for me so were very reliable. To be fair the 89/99p pink box of 2 test sticks from home bargains were good and show lines just as early as the “early 10ml tests” despite having a 25ml sensitivity. I found that all tests regardless of sensitivity show a line if you are pregnant. Just for reference I had endless pink false positives using the one step tests from Amazon, along with wondfo, there is another brand called preview which are the exact same tests as wondfo, another pack of one step tests which were thinner and had hcg written on the strip, these tests you’ve used and even the ovum tests. Just to name a few, at some point in the 6 months I had been trying I had many false positives with all named. It’s helpful to bear in mind that it does happen (false positives) I know just how devastating it is to cling onto hope it’s positive, for me it felt like torture month in month out so I really do understand the ttc agony x
