Hey everyone, FTM mum so have no idea what to expect.
Im 39+ 4 days, had a sweep last Thursday and a 2nd sweep yesterday. First was successful and was 1cm dilated, 2nd sweep resulted in a short lasting but heavy bleed that I was monitored for but all seemed to be of no concern, again successful apparently and now 2cm dilated with soft and short cervix.
i was measured almost 2 weeks ago for which the baby is measuring 6 weeks ahead yet still no appointment for a scan to confirm which has got me very very anxious and worried about birth and having to wait to go into natural labour.
has anyone been in a similar situation? How soon did labour start for you?
