I’ve had decreased everyday this week .. he’s been checked every time and they’ve said he’s fine but why is this suddenly happening at 35 weeks I’m really worried. He’s loved Jon stop from 17 weeks and so this is really really unusual and worrying

Keep going in to be monitored every single time.

Yep keep going in OP, probably nothing but really not worth the risk. Maternity ward won't mind at all and usually really quick

RedRobyn24 · 01/06/2025 19:40

I’m not sure, what do the midwives/doctors/sonographer say?

CaptainJason · 01/06/2025 19:41

Keep going in every single time.
Chances are, baby is just bigger now and has less room to move, and they’ve got themselves in a position where they can wriggle about but it’s harder for you to feel because they’re kicking into your placenta or similar!

BUT it’s not worth the risk, you should always, always go in to be checked over.

Hope you’re okay!

I had the exact same from around then onwards with my LO and all was totally fine. I just kept going in, and they don’t mind at all! It is probably nothing sinister whatsoever, but ALWAYS better to check (even for your own peace of mind, you don’t need any stress) x

Have they done a growth scan/Doppler to check baby out?
I had this with DD from 34 weeks (I could feel DS consistently but DD had no pattern of movements) and they did a Doppler scan and rearranged growth scans. They were very clear that you have to go in straight away every time

It's a shag but go in every time.

Before going in I'd do star jumps, drink cold soda and there were a few other things
They worked about halftime time...

Still go in every time you’re unsure, you’re so near the finish line and baby is probably just running out of room to really move about but it is always worth getting checked out. I barely felt DD move throughout my pregnancy, still went in every time I was unsure about movements and she was totally fine. She’s nearly 2 now and won’t sit still anymore haha!
