I had a few positive pregnancy test and then started to bleed when I would have been 4+1. This lasted 4 days and had cramps like a period. I’ve just done a test to make sure it was negative and it’s darker than the last test I done. How long does it take for the tests to turn negative?

Have you been in touch with your GP or EPU? I’d suggest getting bloods done and then a scan when they recommend (probably too early now). It’s not uncommon to bleed and have cramps when pregnancy is progressing normally too, so will cross fingers for you

@Winkyskull yes I contacted EPU earlier and they said to wait 3 days and test again then contact them if it’s still positive. The lines are still not as dark as I would assume a healthy pregnancy would be.

Mine turned negative about 8 days after bleeding. That said, I did bleed a lot during one of my pregnancies and baby was completely fine.
