My cycle was thrown out of wack, my last period was the 29th of April however I ovulated late. Had a positive ovulation test on both the 21st and 22nd May and had sex the 22nd. When is the earliest I can take a pregnancy test?

I would say Wednesday, then you'll be roughly 12dpo.

@Penguin181 my dates were almost exactly the same as you, period on 29th April and ovulated on 22nd May, I've just tested today (10DPO) and got a BFP, it might be worth you trying tomorrow morning??!

LauraP94 · 01/06/2025 17:37

I used to test 10dpo as I’d get impatient so agree with pp you could try tomorrow morning if you have a sensitive test 🤞

I always test from 9DPO, which has been when I’ve got positive test in the past (although very faint). I’d probably wait 11-12DPO for more accuracy

It’s weird because my app said to test today because my period is 1 day late but then shows the 7th to be period starting which is roughly how long after ovulation it usually occurs so I am so confused this month 🤦🏽‍♀️

Just did a digital that said Not Pregnant and as I finished the test to wipe it looks like period may be starting 🤦🏽‍♀️😭
