Pain in throat but only when I move my head

There is every chance this is completely unrelated to pregnancy and I’m booked in to see the GP (though not till Wednesday) but I thought I’d ask!

swallowing, eating all fine just when I move my head to the side or up or down my throat hurts on my left side. It definitely feels like my throat rather than my neck? I’ve had a bit of a google (dangerous I know) and I’m wondering if it’s to do with acid reflux which is bloody awful at the moment.

Any insights gratefully received though I realise it’s pretty niche! I’m currently 31 weeks x

Could it be a swollen gland on the left side? Can you feel your gland if you lightly press with your fingers? Doesn’t sound pregnancy related to me.

Could be thyroid related, its quite common for issue with thyroid to develop during/after pregnancy or other times of hormonal upheaval.

I get this with acid reflux- I take lansaprazole now but during pregnancy I lived on Gaviscon (giant bottles!)
