I previously bled and at my 20 week scan they told me a had a 2.5 cm bleed.

Went back a a week later for a scan where they said they couldn’t see it anymore, if I had more bleeding to get scanned again.

2 weeks later and I’m bleeding again after sex , got told to come in , they didn’t check much just blood pressure ect and were saying they don’t do routine scans . Surely this isn’t a routine scan ? It’s a reoccurring bleed after a previous bleed and could mean the placenta bleed is back.

Surely I need another scan to check if the bleed is back ? I just feel like I’m being brushed off.

That doesn’t sound good enough, not sure how, but I think it’s ok to insist somehow, or go private but shouldn’t have to do that.

Yeah definitely should’ve got a scan.
I also went in for reoccurring brown discharge (been at the hospital a month prior due to heavy bleeding and everything looked fine)
and got told I have a 5cm x 1 cm hematoma directly over my cervix and that I will bleed more. Got prescribed vaginal progesterone and bleeding stopped 2 days after. A week later had a routine appointment and my obgyn said everything looks fine, no hematoma. I’ve been on progesterone for a month now and due to stop on Monday which I’m really anxious about because I’m not sure who to believe on the diagnosis.

It’s probably because it was bleeding after sex so they’ve assumed it is due to that as opposed to anything else. It is really common after sex - SCH or not.
most hospitals won’t scan you weekly with the same issue/no new symptoms - they’ll assume it’s sex/SCH even if they can’t see it if baby has been fine previously.
Sometimes on a scan my sch would show, other times it wouldn’t.
did they tell you not to have sex and to take it easy?
