Hi,

How long after having the screening for the above did people wait for their results? I’m really anxious about it and don’t want to tell anyone about the pregnancy until I’ve had the results so just wanted a rough idea on how long people have waited.

I’m open to the UHB trust in Birmingham if this helps.

Thanks!

I was under the under that same hospital as you. The results depend on the test you’ve had. What did you have? I’m so sorry, all of the tests are so stressful. X I think i wanted a out a week x

How far gone are you as I think you can have the neuro test at 12 weeks. It have to wait until week 15 for an amnio x

I just had the screening done at the 12 week scan where they measure the fluid at the back of the neck and the blood test x

3 weeks for me. All was low risk. Ds is 12 weeks old now and perfectly healthy

2.5 weeks but different hospital for me- they usually call in a few days from the test if there’s anything concerning, for low risk results they post out.

I had my result in 3 days. Scan on Thursday then results on Badger Notes by Monday evening.
I think I was intially told a couple of days if they had concerns and 10 days if not though.

At mine they said they'd call within 48 hours if it came back as high risk, or it would come in the post within a couple of weeks if low risk. It was about 3 weeks in the end so I was worrying, but all was fine
