Does anyone feel like their stomach is about to explode??

I am now 16+5 and all of a sudden I feel like my tummy wants to explode out of my skin. I have been getting bigger for the past 3-4 weeks and I now have a noticeable bump which has been ranging from firm to soft depending on the time of day and whether I sit, stand or lie down.

Since yesterday it seems a lot more firm and also feels like the skin is really taut but its quite uncomfortable and I feel like its going to explode any moment. I also keep having visions of a baby coming out of my belly button a la Aliens!!

Is it just me??

I am in the same boat. About 19 weeks and all I can do to stop my tummy feeling like a rugby ball is to rub Bio oil on my tummy mornings and evening and it makes the pulling sensation away. Supposed to be good for stretch marks too.

I feel bigger in the mornings and evenings than I do all day long.

Yeah I am 30 weeks and I get this.
It is horrendous isnt it.
Just have to wait for it to ease off I find.
Comes and goes.
When it happens I find it hard to do much as it feels like someone has inflated a huge volley ball or something in there....

Sounds like braxton hicks to me. I hate it. I get it much more in the evenings, especially after a stressful day of work.
