Due in 3 months and starting to think about buying a pram / car seat. The only thing is I really don’t want to collect until I’m due and would ideally like to pay in three or something leading up to the due date.
is there anywhere that does something like this?

Thanks for any recommendations!
ps I miss mothercare!

Boots online does Klarna or PayPal pay in 3 payments. Hope that helps! What are you thinking of going for?

Thanks! Good to know! Do you know if they hold onto the products? I don’t want stuff cluttering my house now 🤪 I’m trying to clear out.

I had all Joie products the first time round and they were okay but this time I’ll probably look for products that are lighter and less bulky. Have even thought about not bothering with a pram this time as I hardly used one with my second. Think I’d regret that though!

Any of the nursery shops I went to did a deposit option and then you chose how to do the rest whether that was pay it off when it came in stock, or pay in chunks that suited you. It just needed to be paid in full the week before collection. I ordered and put deposit down around 32 weeks and collected about 38 weeks. Worth ringing a few places to check. I looked in family businesses local to me as opposed to chain stores, but all had same prices and good deals on bundles.

Great deals to be had if you don’t mind second hand too

Mamas and papas. You choose a delivery date and just have to have balance paid off a week before.

We went to get ours at about 27 weeks, and the guy who sold it to us made a reference to us “leaving it until later than most people do” which surprised me! But then I noticed the other women in the shop hardly had a bump at all, so wonder if it’s something people get quite early?
We paid a 25% deposit and could choose a day, any day we wanted, to either go and collect it or have them deliver it. We went for three weeks before baby is due, but he said we can change that day whenever we want. We pay the rest on that day, too!
