Clear Blue Weeks

I am 3 days late for my period, took a clear blue weeks test on Thursday night and it said Pregnant 1-2 Weeks - i have done another one today thinking that it might have moved on to the 2-3 weeks but its still saying 1-2 ?
I dont want to get het up on this and worrying that things aren't progressing etc etc.
Are the weeks reliable? At 3 days late / 17 DPO should it be higher than 1 -2?

They’re not that reliable. 2-3 weeks would be 14-21 days after conception so normal not to get that yet at 17dpo but also they’re not super accurate and everyone’s HGC levels rise differently. I never got 3+ weeks (fairly common from these threads) and my now 2yo is asleep next to me. Congratulations on your pregnancy, try not to over test as it will only make you anxious.

So i took another weeks digital this morning - i should be 5 weeks exactly and its still saying 1 - 2 weeks :( I am so upset. I dont know where to go from here - do i just wait it out? Surely in the next few weeks if it isnt progressing then i will start to bleed?

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 i don’t want to give you false hope but the CB with weeks indicator was not reliable in my experience. Big hug to you. If it doesn’t work out this cycle, I hope you get you lasting BFP soon after.

Thank you xx - i have read so much online that makes me think yeah itll be ok - or oh no its definitely going to end ! Its such an anxious time - between getting the positive pregnancy test and then that first scan seems like a lifetime!

I take it you’re 5 weeks from lmp? That wouldn’t show as that on a clear blue. Clear blue is from conception so depending on when you ovulated you should be max 2 weeks currently, therefore 1-2 weeks is completely fine. You’re pregnant until your period shows up so just enjoy that you are!

Thank you xx i got a positive on my OPK on the 7th of May - my period was due on Wednesday the 21st and it never arrived so I did the clear blue on the Thursday.
Its such a worrying time xx
