After 11 months, a polyp removal, many investigations i have FINALLY got my positive test before starting IVF and 2nd cycle after polyp removal.
It's very early days but I promised myself id come back to mumsnet and mention my symptoms and journey as I spent hours on here reading about...just about everything!!
I will say the polyp removal definitely sorted my cycles out, so I would recommend being checked for these if you are struggling or your cycles seem "off". With the polyp I had a 7 day luteal phase so I'm convinced nothing could happen. Once the polyp got removed I had a 14 day luteal phase straight away, and pregnant by 2nd cycle.
I had low vitamin D and it may completely be by chance but I took COQ10 this month which knocked my ovulation on by 3 days so I ovulated day 18, rather than my usual 15.
If anything, ive had less symptoms in the 2ww which made me suspicious, as I always spot from 9dpo and didn't this time.
9dpo - mild cramping (normal for me with PMS)
10dpo - no spotting or cramping
11dpo - no spotting and very mild cramping, id usually be in discomfort by now.
Mild headache
4 spots randomly developed on my face.
Very faint line on an easy at home test (which have given me false positives before so I didn't believe it)
12dpo - Easy at home test positive again followed by a clear blue test which had a strong positive.
Feeling very hungry
Abit lightheaded
Tired
These forums kept me somewhat sane when I've been going through this horrendous journey. Keep going! It will happen for you.
